In September, Ascent Community Partners — a leading local HOA management company in Colorado — hosted a special evening for the board members we serve. It was a great opportunity to step away from day-to-day emails and meetings and spend time connecting in person. The evening brought together community board leaders, trusted vendors, and our Ascent team for good food, great conversations, and a shared goal: building stronger, more informed communities.
One of the highlights of the night was Bryan Farley's (of Association Reserves) session on advanced reserve study planning. The presentation broke down complex financial forecasting topics into practical insights that board members could immediately apply to their HOA planning. Seeing the level of engagement and thoughtful questions reminded us how dedicated our board members are to managing their associations responsibly and preparing for the long term.
We were also joined by several of our preferred vendor partners, who spent the evening sharing their expertise and building connections with board members. These relationships are at the heart of effective community association management. When boards have the chance to meet the people behind the services — from maintenance and construction to insurance and landscaping — it builds trust and makes collaboration that much smoother when projects arise.
To everyone who attended, thank you for making the night such a success. Events like these remind us why we love what we do — helping boards feel supported, informed, and connected. At Ascent Community Partners, we believe that when HOA boards are equipped with the right tools and knowledge, they can lead communities that truly thrive.
